To the individual who may be in a position to help,

There are a lot of things that Americans take for granted… that I have always taken for granted. In the good old US of A, opportunity abounds like no other place in the world; opportunity like ripe fruit hanging from the branches of an apple tree. Although there is a varying degree of the difficulty of the journey undertaken, the hoops one must jump through, to attain an apple; to reap the ripe fruit, prepare and craft it into your own “American dream” apple pie. There are those whose parents own the whole orchard. They are as a sentinel over their land. They prepare boundless apple pies for their young who in turn give them away, leave them to weather  and throw back into their faces in jest or sometimes even burn down the whole orchard. These individuals swing gently on the breeze within their hammocks waiting on room service to bring more pies knowing all the while the bakery runs 24/7 and will one day be theirs. There are those more valiant; those that leave their orchards behind. There are those that wage their orchards or even their only true. Even further are those that harvest their only fruit, pack light with faith, throw a stove pot on their head and travel on wings of wax toward the sky in an effort to sew seeds of opportunity across the land waiving the first toll on the road to success; cosigning a startup… hiring a migrant that may now have a few apples from their tree for a well-deserved pie. Throughout the land there are common themes. Apples do not produce themselves without a bit of assistance from man. Much more assistance and determination is needed to turn raw apples into a hot, delicious pie.  For all but the most desperate and learned, someone must teach another to prepare and bake your pie. There is never a lack of strangers prepared to steal or share in your pie… and there is never an abundance of those handing out, sharing or baking a pie for you.  Most realize only when they are seated before their fragrant, steaming pie that they wish someone was there to enjoy it with or maybe even someone else who may appreciate it or at least push their seat back to the table when they’ve finished. Most children, potential pie makers, have come from a vast apple plantation, a moderate/mediocre apple farm or at least the honest and capable migrant stock. Despite whether you inherit an apple seed, an apple(s), a tree or an entire orchard… most have a home base to be safe from worldly exposure, an ear to listen to worldly concerns, experience to rely upon for guidance, a heart that cares and prays for their interests and at least a seed to line their pocket as well as their dreams. Where is the worst position to be in America? Where is the furthest from an apple pie and a dream? Most may say the orphaned; those with no guidance, no means, no structure and no love. There are such that are so busy maintaining sustenance, shelter and clothing there is not much left for dreams of desserts. As anyone may testify that has nothing to give besides love, a kind ear and varying degrees of skilled labor… dismissal, ill tempers, assault and suspicions are all that is offered to these with nothing material to provide, no ombudsman for their cause, no lineal ties to be honored, a mouth to feed and a dream of one day baking their own pies; which is considered by those with no connections to this outsider to be a piece of their own pies. There is one place... one man whom is in a lower caste or position to journey after their own apples. This is the man that can never be a child. This is the man whose family is corrupt and NOT gone. This is the man who is taken from and not helped. This is the man that’s own small stash of apple seeds is frequently plundered yet he cannot runaway due that someone lovely will be left behind. Someone lovely will proportionately lose what has been proportionately gained. All the individuals above the orphans produce proportionally less great, independent and omnipotent-like caring individuals. No matter how much they may preach, how many of these follow in the footsteps or care in the same manner as the spirits they invoke? How many of the most well-known of these caring simply cut ties when it is too long to listen to, too difficult to listen enough to understand or assist or the most uncaring of all… may effect opinions of themselves in the eyes of the evil perpetrators? There are not many that will even speak against the killings of the innocent when it is known that killers may simply think poorly without actions against those in a position to speak. This type of individual is usually from the lowest caste. These individuals may walk more within the “footsteps in the sand” than the myriad above yet consider themselves the least spiritual and never invoke their beliefs as excuses, offerings or sorts of mitigation. When people struggle and are well on their way to their pies… their journeys should be taken into consideration and should not be discarded lightly. All of our journeys mean something to each and every one of us as well as all of our destinations. Each of us has had to sacrifice and give that which we did not have in varying degrees no matter whether you were raised in the street, the slave house or the main house. Whether you inherited the plantation or indentured servitude… your journey and your destination is meaningful and should not be discarded lightly. Most of the world is ONLY after their pies… all others be damned. There is a special caste that should receive some mention. There is a special caste that stares directly in the face of harsh consequences, that sacrifices much more than most, that struggles despite grave wager not only to attain a pie of their own but to stand up for injustice home and abroad, to bring Johnny Appleseed in the form of Uncle Sam to the rest of the world spreading opportunity. There are those that see wrong being done, yet do not wait for someone else to do something about it. There are those that join the military. Not too knock on other branches, but it is not only difficult to make that leap to join the military… it is much more difficult to decide to pursue and successfully complete the journey of becoming a Marine vs taking a much simpler route into service which is viewed as a single entity by the majority. There are those that accept menial labor, pay, position, etc. in exchange for a meaningful duty. Those that stand up for those that cannot defend or speak for themselves; those that risk their lives willingly for seeds not apples, trees or land. They know that these seeds will one day provide shade, shelter, a place to lean/sit, food, rest and one day more seeds to be carried elsewhere in the world. It’s a struggle where much is sacrificed in exchange for a gift to be given away. Much of what received is only a richness of spirit, sense of comradery as well as a meaning in your life that many plantation owners will never have. Despite all that is asked of you and all you know may occur… nobody may know the feelings one must battle when facing the reality that friends have died. Nobody could understand the feelings one must battle when they are asked to go or fill into their place. Nobody knows how it feels to make this transition; to sell/give away things always loved yet for some reason now not needed, to break the news to loved ones, to kiss your only family goodbye and turn your back not knowing if you will be back. Defending your country despite how anyone may view it is an inalienable right. If it is not immediately inalienable, then its status is solidified when you have endured beatings and harsh conditions in military training. Once you have endured training, harshness of conditions as well as attitudes, put up with all and persevered… your right to fight and your right to remain within the organizations themselves should be protected if not guaranteed. Opinions and conjecture should never be enough to take what you unlike the remaining citizens have stood up for, sought after, sacrificed for and successfully maintained. Of course opinions and conjecture should NEVER be enough to take away anyone’s rights… although this is not the way things are. There should at least be a fine line stating that you may take away these citizen rights which is a stretch in itself although you shall go no further without proof. It is difficult enough for those of the bottom caste in this world, for those that have reciprocated roles or are at opposition with their would be care takers. For an individual with the history to stand up and do the right thing repeatedly, to care for friends and family that only take or steal, to commit and gamble their life to a cause not share ideologically, to extend their time without obligation to do so, to have no history of crime or ill-gotten means to only be after a piece of their own pie and some meaning in this world to have to endure persecution by the government repeatedly is an evil act against this individual. For those that show no evil tendencies, with so much potential and reliance upon them, that struggles for their own and to not only stand up but volunteer when they didn’t have to yet their greatest enemy/struggle in life is the police and government… this is an insult to society as a whole. In my situation throughout my life I’ve been a good and law abiding citizen, yet for some reason my greatest enemy has always been the police and the judicial system! Why is that? When my father molested my little sister and split… my Mother and I who turned him in lost her to a corrupt judicial system and a foster family that simply wanted her and the money that came with her from the state and her own winnings through pageantry. They wanted a beautiful little girl and they got one that was beautiful, smart and established already through the pageantry world with her own winnings. The plan of action presented by the crew of barely educated associates degree dropouts/addicts was never from day one to even attempt to place the family together. She was taken on false accusations provably incorrect and not returned because it no longer mattered why she was taken only where she was intended to be placed… which wasn’t at home. Apparently loving and caring for a child for all but 3 months of their life makes you a caretaker and not a guardian, yet having unprotected drug induced sex with strangers to produce a child that you’ve only seen a total of 3 months gives you rights to that child. Whether or not you want those rights, the government can step in and do whatever they like including taking a child from a family that reports the activity against a man and then lets that same man go without any charges or even alimony. He is rewarded for his wrongdoings with those that tried to be screwed by the government who pays the individuals involved for their improprieties while the others struggle.  That same government can sit back while the family struggles and then accept a member’s application with no bonuses to fight and die for them viewing that man as only a number if he were to actually die. That same government can sit back and allow that man who’s done everything he’s ever been asked to do and volunteered for more to be prosecuted, persecuted, life and reputation destroyed by corrupt individuals that are being paid/rewarded by the government to not do their jobs; investigators are paid to accuse and not to investigate in this results oriented business where results are not attained but created.  These individuals are those that have not struggled nearly as much nor have sacrificed as much yet there corrupt ways, elusive in nature, are simply allowed and rewarded along with their “skating” through their professional positions. On the other side of the government, the military knowing your record of good deeds simply believes without investigating once again that there should be some good reason without getting into the details. When details are finally presented… well you simply must not be telling the whole story or this wouldn’t have happened. You’re a liar telling the truth because the truth doesn’t add up simply because some notion that the government does NOT do this to people. This however is your entire argument! I need help because the government should not be doing this to criminals… much less to good people. Crimes are not investigated for evidence. Alleged evidence points to others whom are either not investigated or let go. Crimes are elevated from infractions to misdemeanors to felonies meanwhile the standards of investigation and evidence are relaxed to playground rules. Loopholes and lies are used to make you responsible. Then the government as a whole drops you like a hot iron including everything you’ve ever worked and strived for. The system is supposed to be evidence/investigation oriented to take away from citizens. It is supposed to be rehabilitive in nature not destructive. It is supposed show criminals that there is another way a less evil way to survive and become a citizen. It is not supposed to drop citizens and turn them into criminals to survive!

Whoever is reading this and is a position to assist, know that although I’m sure you receive many requests mostly which are those that are guilty looking to escape, partially innocent or only innocent in their minds. I believe being an attorney, involved in assisting the charged/convicted, a politician in a direct position to help or even being in a position, such as a reporter, to expose the situations of others places you in an awkward position. You must balance your desire to help, your resources to assist and the actual liability, in whatever form especially that to reputation, in order to determine whether assistance is helpful, warranted or will actually be given. Know that I am truly innocent of this crime, I’ve been harshly persecuted as well as prosecuted and I can prove my innocence through evidence… I simply don’t know how to make my case heard. I firmly believe I could represent myself and do a much better job than was done but only in a court room where I need not know all the rules and loopholes. I would only need to present my evidence, prove their improprieties and watch as they grasp for straws and excuses. I feel that my case is one that lawyers would love to represent. I eventually wish to be a doctor and the people I wish to help the most are the appreciative, less fortunate that are terribly overwhelmed and abused; not those that can pay exorbitant sums. It seems to me that individuals become attorneys to rectify injustice, help those in need that are truly innocent, help those that have given of themselves repeatedly and verifiably, yet are unable to simply present a case properly to be heard or effectively handle the situation. They would wish to help those who’s civil rights have been violated repeatedly, who’ve been prosecuted, persecuted or discriminated against simply because they were poor or in the military and to take cases with an added bonus of verifiably damages which could line the lawyer’s own pockets directly from those that have abused the very system they’ve grown to love, studied and use to pursue their own pies filled with American dreams. What is it that I want from anyone in a position to help? I don’t want money, material possessions, you to feel sorry for me or to listen vacantly… my goal is only to clear my name within society and the Marines, to stop further suffering whether it be financially, loss of liberties, mental anguish, the need to explain myself repeatedly, inability to find a job and constantly being looked at with a raised eyebrow. I’m disgusted at all I’ve lost over accusations and a $5 loss to a bank… a business which charges people $30+ for going over 1 penny.  I’ve been treated in a manner worse than a criminal deserves and I am not a criminal, not involved with anything to do with this crime nor was I involved with any of the individuals criminally that I was repeatedly pressured to give information on. I had no idea of what he wanted in particular. As far as I knew Charlie and Michael got high, I had no idea they were shooting up at all or that they were stealing things and pawning them. They have both since been charged, convicted and served time each for 1 count of Obtaining Property for a string of crimes and I’m looking at 2 counts for something I did not do, was never investigated, cannot be proven and I can prove they are lying when only their word was used to convict me! I knew that Michael’s dad was a meth addict in an out of jail and his Grandfather’s home. I knew he worked on cars and that’s it. I didn’t even EVER see him… yet I am pressured to give information I don’t have. I knew that there were drug dealers around the apartment complex, because the cops are always walking around asking questions, the way some apartments have seemingly a lot of traffic, individuals hanging outside smoking pot and the gaunt appearance of what I would assume to be crack heads that knock on your door asking for everything including a cigarette, a ride, to use the phone, for food, etc. I didn’t have the information he wanted to begin with and even if I did I would not have told him anything about other people nor should anyone be forced to rat others that are neighbors wallowing in squalor to survive only to receive NORMAL charges or instead have the charges trumped up as far as they can get them. Investigators are paid to investigate crimes and provide evidence to find the criminals and prove their guilt… not to be lazy, get a hunch, harass/persecute to extort information and then simply make allegations which they had opportunities to prove if they were true instead of doing their jobs. The American way is not EVEN to convict criminals of crimes without evidence of involvement much less productive citizens. It is to be innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent. You are not to be locked up, denied access to the law library, the courts and to your attorney and then when you see him to be recorded during your interaction. It is to make a distinction between those awaiting trial and those that are convicted. It is not to make jail a horrible place while prison is a country club as yet another attempt to convince you to take a deal because it’s easier to allege than to prove and easier to convict by plea arrangement under pressure than by trial; then turn around and max out the sentence of innocent individuals you wrongfully convict simply because they refused to accept your deals and they take it to trial. My case is a perfect case to bring light to the corrupt manipulation of the system. It’s perfect to line the pockets of an attorney that loves to sue corrupt individuals. It’s perfect for those that wish to assist the struggling innocent who’ve been abused, wrongfully convicted, discriminated against and civil rights violated. It’s perfect for a political representative that wants to undertake a righteous cause simply to be noticed or for those that don’t wish to be noticed only desiring to correct wrongs brought to their attention. I would desire any assistance I could receive in the matter whether that be championing and campaigning the cause or something as simple as making a phone call to someone that’s not on the county, the state or my side to sort out the truth and the power to make sure that recommendation’s may be followed through with. My case is perfect for the reporter scavenging for meaningful, interesting stories to expose to the public. My goal is to prove my innocence, but really my goal is to get my case to trial where I know that I can prove my innocence. Political or public interest in my case would directly assist in this goal of getting my case to trial and would be greatly appreciated in any form, even if it is as simple as initiating a 3rd party investigation. If you are reading this… I’m likely sitting in jail/prison with nobody to visit, nobody to call and likely not so much as a letter. I expect the only person that will care or even contact me is my Mother. I don’t have family that wasn’t taken from me by the government or aren’t deviants of some form. My wife left me after her charges were dismissed. Sometimes I wonder what her intentions of being around were to begin with. My military friends either don’t know what happened, weren’t really friends, fell into a general atmosphere of hating on me as an alleged criminal, integrity violator or a deserter because I was arrested 5 days before my plane left. I gave up much of my civilian life either with the military or to provide for my Mother and I. What I had left went to the wayside when I was asked to come to active duty and stayed on for nearly a year before I was to be deployed. I have nothing, no one and nothing to lose. I appreciate the lessons I’ve learned throughout my struggles thus far… but at what cost? Were they worth it?
