What Actually Happened at my Apartment

I was in my bedroom when my Mother came in saying some Det's were at the door asking for Betty, Lelsie's Mother.  She was involved in a bunch of Breaking and enterings with her father who'd recently popped up out of the blue and got Betty smoking crack and Leslie turned them in so I didn't think much of it, I just got dressed and went to check on Leslie at the door.  They said they needed to speak to us separately so I stepped out into the parking lot with Turner while Hoppes and Leslie stayed in front of the door underneath the steps.  I was repeatedly accused of dealing especially when I worked at Zaxby's he said don't think he didn't know he just had bigger fish to fry, accused of  ties to stolen goods and using this card relentlessly; especially more forcefully once he'd accused me of using the card at Myric's where he said witnesses had seen me and for gas and I confirmed that I had shopped at Myrick's.  This completely fueled his already burning fire.  He asked what day to which I responded with a pretty sure it was Friday.  He said it like "Well I think it was Saturday" began to imply my memory was just off like it was no big deal.  I held my ground because I specifically remembered making a special trip to Walmart Saturday evening to buy marked down meat for the house because I had already purchased all my other groceries at "Myrick's Discount Grocery" where they sell food that has damaged packaging and the like. I specifically remembered planning to get whatever to eat for the night at least and something for a good dinner Sunday night for my family which ended up being marked down Country Style boneless ribs (I never mentioned the meat thing to him this is just simply how I knew for sure).  When I insisted that I knew I was there on Friday, he much more vehemently insisted I was seen there on Saturday using the card for groceries.  He demanded to know howithwhere I'd gotten the card even asking me if I picked pockets along with everything else referring back to the dealing and stolen goods accusations.  He asked me where I'd been on Saturday.  I told him I had went to Walmart to buy some meat.  He asked what time to which I replied I wasn't sure.  He scoffed cutting me off.  I finished my statement saying it was that night I guess somewhere between 1730-2030… I didn't know.  I know that I got meat and then I left. Then I remembered I did find a card on the way out of WalMart, but I returned it. I was like, "Oh, yeah" I did find a card at Walmart but it was that evening late because it was too late to wait to cook a real dinner that night and I had all the groceries so I bought a bunch of crap and ate nasty scraps then enjoyed a Sunday banquet. I did not remember even finding the card until explaining to him exactly what happened and sort of reliving it in my mind. He's just like Oh, so now you DID find a card Saturday.  He insisted I wasn't being truthful.  I'd kind of about had enough by now and was getting pretty heated.  I got mad, raised my voice back which made him worse than he already was.  I was mad about it all and now I felt he was challenging my word.  I told him to ask Leslie or my Mom inside and they'd tell him the same damn thing about when I went and Leslie was with me.  He said he didn't doubt at all I was "creeping" around Walmart on Saturday.  He doubted I was telling the truth about the time.  He asked me if I was sure I hadn't found the card at Walmart Saturday morning.   When I mentioned that I did find a card, he just took it from there making an assumption instead of an investigation.  He began to insist that not only I did this, but I had the card in my possession asking me for my wallet.  I told him I didn't have the card and he wasn't checking my damn wallet.  He threatened me, Leslie, the Marines, my apartment and that even if I was convicted of a felony and I needed to help myself and give him some information and "play the game" because once he initiated the charges there was no going back.  I kept on denying it and wouldn't give him my wallet (which wasn't on me but inside; he didn't need to know that... only he wasn't going to push me around).  About this time he reached out like he was going to grab me or pat my pockets or something and I told him in a very confident Marine manner not to touch me.  This got Hoppes's attention as well as Leslie's as they were standing in the arch of the door/upstairs apartment stairwell while we were in the parking lot.  Hoppes started over there and Leslie asked me if I was ok did she need to get Sheila, my Mother.  I told her it was fine to go into the house and lock the door unless they wanted to arrest her.  We didn't have anything else to say about it if they weren't going to listen anyhow.  She went inside and locked the door.  Turner whispered to Hoppes.  Hoppes went to their vehicle and retrieved some papers and clipboard.  Turner started writing things down.  He insisted and assured Hoppes I had the card in my possession.  I told him I didn't have the damn card.  Call Walmart, I told him what time I was there already, he's a detective... detect and stop accusing me of it because it's not going to go anywhere.  They demanded I hand over my wallet.  I repeatedly said no.  They both looked at each other a sec and kind of started toward me.  I didn't want to get manhandled or worse, so I pulled my pockets out and said that I didn't even have it on me.  It was inside.  Hoppes said he bet Leslie was getting rid of it for me.  They demanded to search my house.  I told them no.  They kept on saying I should help myself and let them if I knew I didn't have it that it didn't matter.  I replied that it didn't matter what the fuck I had in my damn house.  I don't care what they thought I had in their or if searching would ease their minds.  They were not going smell up the place looking for a glass of water to ease their thirst.  He smiled at me…  said he makes the rules and I play by them.  The sooner I learned that the better.  They walked right up to my door and pounded on it until my mom answered it.  Then they pushed right on by and started looking around.  Coincidentally, I had a bowl of keys, watch, wallet, etc where I empty my pockets right on the counter and they never even looked through them.  They seemed more worried about electronics, black dust on the desk of my room, a funny looking lamp they tried to say was a bong digging through my closets, sock/underwear, etc.  Nowhere the bills would be.  I even had a stack of phone/prepaid gas cards never gone through.  After they'd had their fill making a mess and I'd sufficiently complained if they investigated Walmart, they'd find a hole in their theory, they stopped and Hoppes called Walmart.  Hoppes told Turner Walmart had just turned in different cards to different banks with multiple SECU cards.  In the small apartment, they were now in the living room/dining room area as bedrooms were the 1st to be searched.  Hoppes called SECU and was put on hold.  Turner asked him what they said.  Hoppes replied that SECU had 5 different cards turned in from Walmart, the bank person was checking to be sure the victim's card was indeed present.  He then began to speak once more before ending the call and verifying to Turner the card was secure.  Only then did they agree to get out.  As I showed them to the door, Turner asked me to come outside once more for a moment to speak to him.  I was once again threatened and told to "play the game/help myself" because I had too much to lose and too much depending on me.  They left.  Turner said he'd be in touch and to think about a list of 10 names of people around the manor that were either dealing drugs or fencing goods.  Also they informed me Michael Whitener, the HS friend I allowed to stay with us, was stealing items from carports, yards, etc. with Charlie Jenkins.  I honestly had no idea, although, they acted as if I knew about it whether or not I was involved.  Also Brian, Michael's father, was cooking methamphetamine which they wanted to know where he was hanging out and where he was setting up his labs.  I was told for my own good to not let Michael in my home because if he committed a crime, was followed to my home and entered with stolen items I'd be charged the same.  Also if they kept watching him, I continued to allow him to live there and they raided my home finding items that I would go to jail.  I should flat out stay away from Brian and "feel out the streets" for his lab sites and hang outs.  If I were involved in any of that, I should separate myself because they wanted to help me and this would make them unable to do so.  For this and a list of ten names of people around the manor, I would only be charged with Misdemeanor Use of a Financial Card and Leslie would not be charged.  If not, I would be charged with Felony Theft and Felony Use of a Financial Card as well as Leslie.  (I now know this charge doesn't exist. If I didn't cooperate, I should be advised to keep my nose clean because Turner would personally make my life hell.  Considering everything he didn't do... he did follow through with his threats.  I was convicted of 2 felonies, albeit different felonies.  He did contact the Marine Corps, my school, my Landlord, my bondsman and even my boss at a summer job waiting tables in Lake Lure. They repeatedly followed me and Turner even pulled me over one day coming down 74 turning onto church St ONLY to see if I'd thought about what we'd discussed which was me giving him information he thinks I had. Then eventually I was called down to the station where I was interrogated and threatened to admit to the crime until I finally got upset and demanded to be charged or let go or it was going to get physical because I wasn't scared of him and called him a carrot top want to be.  He showed me out to the front door and told me that my chance at him helping me was over.  Then I was charged.  I firmly believe if he'd put 1/100th the effort into an investigation that he put into pressuring me over that 46 days and the following 40 months, I would not be in the position I am today having lost everything but my dreams.
